Okay...so i havent blogged in forever but when I tried to get back in the swing of things in January, I accidently deleted my widgets and now I can not do what I want to do so I stared a new blog page. It has a brief update on the Smith famiuly along with some new pics. Not So Good Pictures

So today we went to the mall and took a few picture. They did not give us a CD so i decided to scan the pictures into the computer and upload them from there. Needles to say that in the scanning process, the pictures lost their quality and I am not up to date with a new photo retouch software so the pictures look a little grainy. Please try to ignore the quality and look at how cute Andrew. I could not help myself and I did not want to wait on better pictures so here they are...try to ignore the grainy look...Thanks :-)

Baby's & Rain

Last night we were in the middle of a thunderstorm. Before the rain started I was awakened by my beautiful baby boy. I was lazy so I decided to let him sleep our my bed. I was awaken again around 5:00 a.m. for two reasons. 1) Andrew was starving! 2) the thunder was crazy loud! When Andrew fell back asleep I was wide awake. I remained awake for the remainder of the night. It was then that I was pondering my thoughts and I realized that I love the rain. The soft pitter patter of the drops against my window was incredibly soothing. Andrew began to toss and turn around 6:45a.m. He was laying on his stomach and looking for something to hold on to. I extended my hand and he wrapped those tiny fingers around my large pinkie finger; and I could feel nothing but love. As I layed next to him, I realized that there is nothing more precious than Gods creations. I love everything from the scary thuderstorms to my new baby boy.

CHANGE!!! Change is among us my friends. Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend the most important day in American history with my family. I drove to hours from Milledgeville, GA to Atlanta GA just to share this moment with my loved ones. I am proud to say that I love my country. Obama was announced to be the next President of the United States and I could not be more happier!! As I sat with my family and cried tears of joy, I could not help but feel gratitude and humility. I am proud to be a part of the historic day.

VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!! Today is election day and I felt GREAT exercising my right to vote. I got up a 6:30 this morning. I packed up the baby and we participated in this historic day. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to be able to live in a country where my opinion matters. It is very easy to feel small in the BIG world but today I felt in top of the world. Exercise your right and VOTE!

Andrew is really starting to enjoy food. Of course, his Papa has no problem with feeding him all kinds if junk.

Every year we go to our parents house and decorate. This year we went all out and put up spider webs, tombstones, and lots of caution tape. It was a blast. Here are a few pictures from our SCARY NIGHT!
